The Phoenix Group Supporting Deaf Children and Young Adults
The Phoenix Group for Deaf Children & Young Adults is a charity working with deaf children, young people and their families, based in Stevenage and supporting their members in Hertfordshire.
The charity is based in Stevenage and many activities happen at our acoustically treated centre at the Hyde Out. However we also provide activities across Hertfordshire with the aim to be accessible to all families. We understand that access is difficult for some families and young adults and we may be able to help if this is the case, please get in touch.
The Phoenix Group is affiliated to the National Deaf Children’s Society (NDCS) and although our work is independent of the NDCS, this website gives you links to information on their website as it is relevant and of shared interest.
We welcome anyone with any degree of D/deafness or hard of hearing (HOH). We have a range of events, workshops and fun activities that we do together, so come and join us!
