Volunteer

gurdwara activities

The selfless efforts of our volunteers are what sustain all activities at this Gurdwara. There are loads of impactful and meaningful ways for you to serve here based on your availability and abilities.

Gurdwara is currently open on Sundays only.

Short Term Volunteering

Assist with daily tasks for few hours on weekdays or weekends – sweeping floors, serving langar, providing information to visitors, gardening, doing seva in the Darbar Sahib, cleaning vessels or preparing langar packets. Flexible options!

Long Term Volunteering

Dedicate a longer duration spanning a few months or a year to handle specialised tasks. Manage our planned 24/7 Gurbani radio service by scheduling programs. Train to become a Gurdwara tour guide for students/tourists. Edit newsletters showcasing Gurdwara activities. The commitment is greater but so too the rewards.

Join One of Our Teams

Become part of vibrant groups undertaking regular seva – the Akhand Paath bhog team conducting completion ceremonies every Saturday or Heritage team maintaining displays on Sikh historical artifacts. Choose based on your skills.

Volunteer for Events

Gurpurabs, fundraising drives, awareness campaigns, visiting Nagarkirtan jathas – we need many hands on deck for successful events. Take leave from work to participate. Includes langar seva, waste management, setup tasks, parking duty.

Email us your availability and areas of interest today to get started as a volunteer. This is a priceless opportunity to learn new skills, meet incredible people and make lasting bonds, all while selflessly serving others. We can’t wait to have you!

Waheguru ji ka Khalsa, Waheguru ji ki Fateh.
